The EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour, partially funded by Natural Resources Canada and championed by RBC, will continue in 2026, with an ambitious schedule of EV education and test-drive activities across Canada. Building on the success of our 2024–2025 Tour, Plug’n Drive will deliver a national mix of Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) events, EV Roadshows, Auto Show Test Drive features, the EV Discovery Centre and its satellite location in Toronto, and other community events designed to help Canadians learn about electric vehicles in a hands-on, sales-free environment.

The Many Ways We’re Reaching Canadians in 2026
Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre (EVDC)
Located in Toronto, the EVDC remains a core stop on the Tour. Open year-round, the EVDC offers hands-on EV education, interactive displays, charging demonstrations, and test drives of a rotating lineup of EVs. Visitors receive neutral, evidence-based information to help them make informed decisions. Book a test drive at the EVDC or its Elocity Satellite.
EV Roadshows
Our EV Roadshows travel to communities for one- to three-day events, bringing a pop-up tent or tradeshow booth, electric vehicles, and trained EV Ambassadors. Depending on the location and event needs, EV Roadshows may operate out of the EV Discovery Centre, one of our two MEETs, or as stand-alone activations in communities across the provinces. These EV Roadshows offer on-the-spot EV education, charging information, and test drives wherever possible. EV Roadshows visit town centres, festivals, conferences, trade shows, and community events — rain or shine, and in all seasons.

Mobile EV Education Trailers (MEETs)
Our MEETs completed their 2025 cross-country journey, but they remain an important part of the Tour. Each MEET is a fully-collapsible mobile education centre equipped with informational displays and staffed by EV Ambassadors. They will be back on the road in May 2026, with fewer but longer stops in communities where deeper community engagement is needed.

What is the MEET?
The Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) is a consumer engagement installation focused on EV education and awareness. The MEET is a perfect complement to any regional EV strategy or public outreach campaign. It features localized content about the benefits of driving electric and an EV test drive activity in some of the latest EV models from leading manufacturers. The MEET is staffed by EV Ambassadors from the community who can speak to the electric driving lifestyle in a family-friendly, sales-free environment. We have two active MEETs. In 2026, one will be traveling through Ontario and Quebec, and the other across British Columbia and Alberta.

What does a MEET Include?

The EV Roadshows bring the EV experience to smaller communities, conferences, festivals, and regional events.
