EVs are for EVeryone | Plug’n Drive’s Cross-Canada Tour
We are excited to announce that the EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour, partially funded by Natural Resources Canada and championed by RBC, kicked off in September 2024, bringing our Mobile EV Education Trailers (MEETs) and EV Roadshows to communities nationwide. Over the next two years, we will be travelling across Canada, educating consumers about the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) and offering test drive opportunities at a community near you. We’ll be using both the MEETs and EV Roadshows to reach as many communities as possible.

On tour will be our two fully collapsible and transportable MEETs, one in Eastern Canada and one in Western Canada, that serve as dynamic community hubs. These hubs are equipped with trained EV Ambassadors, engaging informational displays, and opportunities to test drive the latest EV models from leading manufacturers. Each MEET stays in place for two to four weeks at a time, ensuring we can fully immerse local communities in this unique EV experience.
Our EV Roadshows, meanwhile, travel out from the MEETs—or from our Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre in Toronto—for one to three days per event. These Roadshows bring a pop-up tent or tradeshow booth, EVs, and EV Ambassadors to communities, conferences, tradeshows, and festivals, offering electric vehicle education and test drive activities.

What is the MEET?
The MEET is a consumer engagement installation focused on EV education and awareness. The MEET is a perfect complement to any regional EV strategy or public outreach campaign. It features localized content about the benefits of driving electric and an EV test drive activity in some of the latest EV models from leading manufacturers. The MEET is staffed by EV ambassadors from the community who can speak to the electric driving lifestyle in a family-friendly, sales-free environment. We have two active MEETs – one traveling through Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes, and the other across BC, Alberta, and the Prairies.
