Plug’n Drive is bringing hands-on EV experiences to EVVE 2026 and giving policymakers and industry leaders the opportunity to drive the latest EV models
Toronto – October 13, 2026 – Plug’n Drive is excited to announce its return as the official provider of the Electric Vehicle (EV) test drive feature at Electric Mobility Canada’s EVVE 2026 Conference, taking place October 20–22, 2026, at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Organized by Electric Mobility Canada, EVVE is the country’s premier electric mobility gathering, bringing together leaders from government, industry, utilities, NGOs, and academia to accelerate clean transportation solutions. As a Bronze Sponsor of EVVE 2026, Plug’n Drive will showcase a lineup of the latest EV models, giving delegates first-hand experience with the economic and environmental benefits of driving electric. The EV Test Drive Feature will run on October 21 and 22 between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CDT. Plug’n Drive EV Ambassadors will be on site to answer questions about vehicle performance, charging infrastructure, incentives, and total cost of ownership.
“Getting behind the wheel is unmatched when it comes to turning EV interest into adoption,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive. “We’re excited to return to EVVE 2026 as the Bronze Sponsor and official EV Test Drive provider, offering industry leaders and policymakers the opportunity to experience modern electric mobility firsthand.”
In addition to hosting the EV test drive experience, Plug’n Drive leadership will contribute to the conference’s programming. Cara Clairman will join the expert panel titled “Canada’s Electric Mobility Talent Crunch: Labour Markets, Pipelines, and Capacity.” The session will explore how workforce availability is shaping the pace of electrification across manufacturing, maintenance, charging infrastructure, and grid operations.
“We are thrilled to welcome Plug’n Drive back as host of the EV Test Drive feature at EVVE 2026,” said Daniel Breton, President and CEO of Electric Mobility Canada. “We look forward to seeing delegates take the wheel, form lasting partnerships, and take part in sessions that will catalyze Canada’s transition to electric mobility.”
Plug’n Drive will also host a table at the EVVE 2026 Business-to-Business Forum, where delegates can pre-book meetings or drop in for open networking to discuss EV education programs and partnership opportunities. At the Plug’n Drive table will be Cara Clairman, Tracy Walden (Vice President, Engagement), Chad Yee (Director, Strategic Initiatives and Public Affairs) and Aakash Jhaveri (Manager, National Events and Engagement).
“We’re looking forward to being at EVVE to listen to what the industry needs and find ways to work together,” said Tracy Walden, Vice President, Engagement at Plug’n Drive. “We have a growing national platform for EV education and hands-on experiences, and we’re interested in talking with organizations that see opportunities to partner with us to reach more Canadians and make those experiences even more impactful.”
