Montréal, QC – September 3, 2026 – Residents of Montréal will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a number of electric vehicles when Plug’n Drive brings its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) to the community from September 10 to October 11 at NAPA AUTOPRO Garage YM Desmarais. MEET Montréal will offer free, no-pressure EV test drives designed to help people explore electric driving in a practical, accessible way.
Open from Thursdays through Sundays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, attendees at MEET Montréal can test drive an EV and choose from a lineup of latest models and connect with Plug’n Drive EV Ambassadors to learn how EVs fit into everyday life, from charging to range to real-world performance. MEET Montréal is a part of the EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour — partially funded by Natural Resources Canada and championed by RBC, with local support from NAPA Powered By NexDrive.
“Getting people into the driver’s seat is one of the most effective ways to build confidence in electric vehicles,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive. “MEET Montréal will give people the chance to explore their options, understand how charging works and see how an EV could fit into their routine.”

How to Participate in MEET Montréal
- Book ahead: Reserve a test drive online using the booking tool on the MEET Montréal webpage.
- Walk-ins welcome: Drop by during event hours.
Driver requirements:
- Must be 21+ with a full, unrestricted driver’s license
- Prefer not to drive? An EV Ambassador can drive for you
- Passengers aged 9+ welcome with a parent or guardian
